Frequently Asked Questions

Premium Room (Seafront, Beach Access) FAQs

What does the Premium Room (Seafront, Beach Access) look out on?
This room faces the water, with seafront views and direct beach access. The resort sits on nearly 1,000 feet of white-sand private beach on Cozumel's southwest shore. It fronts the Cozumel Reefs National Marine Park, so the sea in front of you is also the dive and snorkel site.
How are the beds arranged and how many people can the room sleep?
You can choose 1 King or 2 Queen Beds. The 463 sq. ft. one-bedroom room sleeps up to 4 guests. A free rollaway/extra bed or a free crib can be added when needed. The beds have Egyptian cotton sheets, a down comforter and hypo-allergenic premium bedding, and blackout drapes help with sleep.
What is the bathroom like?
The bathroom is private and has a rainfall showerhead plus a hand-held, height-adjustable showerhead. It also has a heated bathroom floor and a grab bar in the shower. Bathrobes, slippers, designer toiletries, a hair dryer, towels, and toothbrush and toothpaste are provided.
Is this room a good choice for families with children?
Yes. The resort welcomes guests of all ages, and this room offers a free crib or rollaway bed and sleeps up to four. The Planet Trekkers kids' club is for ages 5 to 12, with supervised activities on Mexican history and culture, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at no charge. There is also a children's pool. In-room childcare is available for a surcharge.
Is the room suitable for couples looking for a quieter stay?
Couples will like the king bed, the seafront setting and the turndown service. The resort also has an adults-focused tranquility pool, and Ikal Spa offers couples massage and a Temazcal ceremony (9:00 AM to 7:00 PM). Faro Blanco, the dinner-only restaurant, overlooks the resort's private cove.
Does the room have accessibility features?
The bathroom has a grab bar in the shower and both a hand-held and a height-adjustable showerhead. The hotel also has ramp access to its leisure facilities, restaurant and bar, and designated accessible parking spaces. If you need specific mobility features, ask the hotel when you book so the right room is assigned.
What is included, and what costs extra?
In the room you get complimentary bottled water, a coffee/tea maker, a minibar, a flat-screen TV with cable and premium channels, a laptop-compatible safe and Wi-Fi. A free rollaway bed or crib is also included. Pay movies, the daily buffet breakfast (about USD 28 for adults and USD 14 for children), cabanas and upgraded lounge chairs are charged separately. Pool towel service is provided.
Where can I eat, and how close is the beach?
The beach is the resort's own, and your room has direct access to it. The resort has four restaurants. El Caribeño is an open-air palapa restaurant by the sea, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Le Cap Beach Club serves Mediterranean dishes, with a happy hour from 6 to 7 PM. Alfredo Di Roma Trattoria (Italian) and Faro Blanco are dinner-only and require reservations.
How do I get to the resort, and what should I know before arriving?
Cozumel is an island, so most guests arrive by air at Cozumel International Airport or by ferry from Playa del Carmen. The hotel has no complimentary airport shuttle. A taxi takes roughly 10 to 15 minutes and costs about $29–35, and there is no rideshare app on the island. Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is at noon. The check-in guest must be at least 18, and you will need photo ID and a credit card. The hotel is smoke-free, with a designated outdoor smoking area.
